Handlung
Die Geheimorganisation SEELE greift NERV an! Die Invasion der Geofront hat begonnen, und SEELEs einziges Ziel ist die totale Vernichtung, insbesondere der drei EVA-Piloten. Shinji, dem die Kraft zum Kämpfen fehlt, läßt Asuka allein gegen die neun EVAs von Seele antreten. Und während Gendo Ikari, der Kommandant von NERV, seine eigenen Ziele verfolgt, erfahren wir alles über den Anfang vom Ende von NEON GENESIS EVANGELION …
